Overview: Comissioned as part of Hubbub’s ‘In Our Nature’ campaign which looked to inspire Manchester to living a more greener lifestyle; The Sensory Structure asked local residents of Moss Side, through playful engagement, what they would like to ‘See, Hear, Smell, Taste and Touch’ within their local park. Residents were asked to vote on their favourite ideas within each of these catagories or submit their own. The structure took inspiration from traditional follies, which were intended as a space from which to view nature; pattern from the Hubbub logo and colour from existing built elements within the park.
